The chairman of a UK company engaged in manufacturing and retailing a range of high-value home products, realised the need for succession planning for business expansion. advent Management Services was commissioned to produce a business plan, including financial forecasts, and thereby identify the organisational needs of the company. Following the presentation of the plan to the chairman and the other directors, an appraisal of the management team was undertaken. The results of this programme of interviews and psychometric analyses allowed the company to match its resources to its needs as outlined in the business plan. The company is now implementing the business plan and developing its newly-established management team. |
