A young company manufacturing products and providing services for metal foundries internationally, realised the need to plan its growth strategy. advent Management Services was selected, because of its experience in the international metals sector, to work alongside the owner/managing director on a long term basis. The initial brief expanded into work on a business expansion plan, including an appraisal of the organisation and the sales operation. Monitoring and reporting procedures were put into place to help the M.D. to control the business as it expanded. Regular mentoring and reporting sessions with the M.D. prioritised the changing business needs; provided a critique of operating plans and reviewed monthly performance. Sales turnover doubled in the first year of this assignment. |
